George Hrab Live at the Exchange

Huge thanks to everybody who came out to the gig! It was so wonderful to meet those of you who introduced yourselves to us, and George put on an amazing show for us. The full audio will be available soon, the video will also be up and there may be highlights on the next episode of Occam's Barbershop. Tune in at 2PM on Thursdays at www.DCUfm.com, or subscribe to the podcast!

NOTE - To avoid a really annoying and invasive ad on this stream, press the tiny play button to the bottom left of the player instead of the giant one.

This is where the George Hrab Golden Ticket Tour Dublin Stop (Or GHGTTDS) live stream will be from about 8PM GMT, so long as we manage to get it up and running. There is very shaky wifi at the venue, but hopefully this won't spoil our fun. If the stream goes down at any point, starting tweeting like madthings in the direction of @OccamsBarbershop and we'll try to get it back up again!

Homeopathic overdose at QED

There's nothing in it! It should be noted that I'm not yet dead, and expect to be performing this stunt again live on the next Occam's Barbershop. Which reminds me, we will be announcing our new live timeslot in the coming hours or so. Keep an eye on our twitter and facebook pages!

Meeting at QED

So, as you are probably aware by now, Occam's Barbershop is going on a bit of a field trip to the Question Explore Discover conference happening on the 5th and 6th of Feburary. We will have a HUGE Occam's Barbershop banner/flag hanging somewhere in the con, and will be pimping the show like a mad thing. Please, come seek Cian out, and have a chat with him!

George Hrab plays Dublin

Occam's Barbershop, in association with Skeptic Ireland and Atheist Ireland, have organised for George Hrab, friend of the show, Singer, Songwriter, Funnyman and all around great guy, to play Dublin!

The concert will be held in The Exchange, Temple Bar, from 8PM on Saturday the 12th of February, and will be completely free. We have room for 75 people, and a GIANT window for any extra stragglers who want to watch from the footpath. We will also be live-streaming the concert, from this very website, so if you aren't in the country or are unable to make it, we hope to be turning the stream on at about 8PM Irish Time (GMT) and you can join in the fun!

While the concert will be free, any donations you wish to make will go towards The Exchange, the wonderful cultural organisation which is making this possible, by giving us access to their stage. Also, if you bring baked goods (which we fully encourage), you will be loved, and possibly hugged.

Please note that The Exchange is an Alcohol Free venue, and Occam's Barbershop shall personally condone a beat-down of anybody attempting to side-step this rule.

Hope to see you at the gig!
